We have two smaller incidental projects ongoing in Mexico. One is with the Escuela San Francisco Tzecahal School in the small Yucatan community of Dzidzantun, famous for their children’s choir who was invited to perform at the White House in Washington. We provided them with computers to help in their educational needs.
The other project is IREE School for the Deaf located in the town of San Miguel de Allende, located in the mountains of Central Mexico. The school is the only one in the region and serves low-income children ages 4 to 22. It receives no government support and is funded completely by donations and grants. Together with the help of Dr. William Caldwell and Mecklenburg Ear, Nose and Throat, we are assisting with basic necessities such as money for rent, books and most importantly, hearing aids.
